In this message, Tyler jumps off by asking the question he ended with last week: "What is God asking you to do?" This question is central to our quest to understand God's will. If we believe that God's desire for us is to live an abundant life, free from waste and full of purpose, then it's essential to realize that understanding His will comes in steps of obedience. Jesus Himself said, "if you love me, you will keep my commandments." So, how do we bridge the gap between where we are now and where God wants us to be? This is the challenge we face. Today's message seeks to guide us in embracing our identities as sons and daughters of God, living in obedience to His will.
Questions for Reflection:
• Is your life more characterized by peace or by a troubled heart or fear? Where is that coming from?
• What is the last thing God has asked you to do? Have you done it? Why or why not?
