Sermon: Act Like Men...
Scripture: 1 Timothy 6:12 & 1 Corinthians 16:13
“Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”
1 Timothy 6:12 NIV
Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13
Introduction: Obtaining eternal life requires me to let go of my life.
What is a man?
Maleness + Masculinity = Manhood
Maleness: Being a man
Masculinity: Acting like a man
Three things God gave Adam:
1. Work to Enjoy
2. Will to Obey
3. Woman to Love
Three Enemies:
1. World
2. Flesh
3. Devil
You will never win the battle on the outside if you cant win the battle on the inside.
Conclusion: Let go of your life by giving your life to Jesus today!
