</p><p><br /></p><p>He served as the office of the president of the republic and the national intelligence agency director general, and is also an active member of the African national congress.
</p><p><br /></p><p>He also held other official positions. He was the South African ambassador to Egypt and Zimbabwe. As of 2021 he serves in Brazil.</p><p>
