Show Notes

This panel discussion was recorded as the recent Western Australian Brewing Conference in Perth.

Once almost an afterthought for many breweries whose main focus was wholesaling beer, the brewery taproom has grown to become the mainstay of many a modern brewery experience. But what makes a world class brewpub experience for the consumer? Is the brewpub just a hospitality venue with the same challenges as any other venue or has the role of the brewpub changed as the industry has evolved?

Today's panellists are:

Caroline Watson - Group Operations Manager for Hospitality at Lion

Emma Locke - Venue Manager at Beer Farm

Lee Behan - Head of Hospitality at Gage Roads

Brews News was able to attend to host and record these panels thanks to the generous support of Bintani - supplying the brewing industry with a wide range of quality brewing ingredients since 1995.
