With AFTRA’s moving goal posts meaning that producing more episodes of The Zero Hour would cost significantly more money, in the fall of 1973, Jay Kholos had to look for either a potential production partner or a buyer.
In the meantime, The Zero Hour continued to air in syndication over stations like WRVR in New York.
