Show Notes
In this episode of Breaking Doctrine, our host, Major Chris Parker discusses one of the four Army Strategic Roles - Consolidate Gains. The 2017 rewrite of Field Manual (FM) 3-0, Operations, introduced the Army to the concept of consolidate gains. Consolidate gains includes activities to make enduring any temporary operational success and to set the conditions for a sustainable environment, allowing for a transition of control to legitimate civil authorities. Consolidation of gains is an integral and continuous part of armed conflict, and it is necessary for achieving success across the range of military operations. In this podcast MAJ Parker hosts Colonel Shane Morgan, Commander, MCTP (Mission Command Training Program), Colonel Bob Molinari, Chief, Operations Group Alpha at MCTP, and Colonel Rich Creed, the Director of CADD.
