Show Notes
We've got professor, Stephanie Senoff back on the show to discuss the importance of deuterium homeostasis in health and how glyphosate likely causes deuterium to be toxic to the mitochondria. We cover and discuss: o Deuterium is a natural isotopie of hydrogen that contains an extra neutron, in addition to a proton and an electron o The mitochondria in our cells work very hard to maintain low deuterium internally, since it harms the ATPase pumps o Glyphosate disrupts several essential enzymes that are involved in deuterium depletion o Viral infections (at least in the lungs) launch a complex cascade that can restore mitochondrial health in the immune cells o This cascade however leads to disease symptoms and can be life threatening if the immune cells are hopelessly impaired ABOUT: Dr. Stephanie Seneff is a Senior Research Scientist at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. She has a BS degree from MIT in biology and a PhD from MIT in electrical engineering and computer science. Her recent interests have focused on the role of toxic chemicals and micronutrient deficiencies in health and disease, with a special emphasis on the pervasive herbicide, glyphosate, and the mineral, sulfur. Since 2008, she has authored over three dozen peer-reviewed journal papers on these topics. She is writing a book on glyphosate, titled "Toxic Legacy: How the Weedkiller Glyphosate Is Destroying Our Health and the Environment," which is expected to be released by Chelsea Green publishers in June 2021.
