He was barely concious as he reached the locker room, was unconcious by the time he arrived at the hospital, and he simply did not wake up. Condolences to his family.On a disappointing note, Tyson Fury sustained a pretty bad cut on his left brow during training and the undisputed fight with Usyk has been delayed back to mid-May. On another disappointing note, Conor Benn wins by UD in Vegas. You'll have to listen to hear why that would be disappointing. Munguia delivers a dynamite win with a MOSTLY entertaining undercard. Kenshiro Teraji retains his belts after a close decision and Tenshin Nasukawa continues his career.

Review from Sep 10 - 23, Preview Sep 24 - Oct 7We had quite a few cards to review on Sep 15-16! Plus some heavyweight fun on the 23rd before we move into previewing the Charnelo card. Don't think we're gonna let the Zurdo and Wood-Warrington fights slide. There is a bit of discussion about Manny and his aspirations for Olympic gold, so pardon the cynicism.

This was the first day of us getting into 2-week review/preview blocks where we alternated with the Casuals, but UFC 293 was so good they jumped on to record the day after. So the Ultimate F'n B-Sides go in on UFC 293, Usyk-Dubois, Jared Anderson, Zhang-Joyce 2, Bellator 299, OneFC's Muay Thai fight, the Charnelo undercard, and allllll the boxing your heart could ever want.

We haven't had a chance to talk since before Spence - Crawford! Fortunately (or unfortunately?) the high emotions have settled down a bit, but there is still a lot to talk about with that fight and get it on the record, as it were. Lots of news, lots reviews, a few previews, and finally sitting down for the mid-year picks. Plus some fun news in about the wider LVX Media family.

Spence-Crawford is finally here! Let's talk a bit over what each fighters' best options my be. A bit of chatter on the rise of Jaron Ennis, how 154 may be shaping out with Jermell Charlo going up to fight Canelo, and a whole host of other recaps.

Well, a lot of this will certainly be dated, but think of it as a retrospective. Further, think of it as speculation in a broader, conceptual sense specifically as it pertains to Vergil Ortiz since his fight was canceled. Still plenty to discuss, so have fun with hindsight being 20/20. A few admin changes: our number 833-589-7637 now accepts text messages, BUT only from WhatsApp because business numbers are weird.

A busy May 27th, light June 3rd. June 9-10 was a lot of fun with Munguia stepping up in competition, relatively speaking, and Teofimo Lopez re-establishing himself as a top name in the 135-140 neighborhood. Some smaller weight discussion and recording was interrupted a few times by June 14th's ProBox card. A look ahead at Prograis and Berlanga new venture with Matchroom on the 17th and 24th respectively.

We discuss the dirty result of Romero-Barroso, the freak KO Nakatani delivered, and Valdez's place in boxing. Looking ahead at Lara and Lopez defending their titles on UK soil, as the Mexican Monster Association continues to dominate British Boxing. With plenty of time to go, we just give a little bit of initial thinking on Spence-Crawford and a tiny bit of MMA talk.

Leo and Drip have a chat over the LVX family's collective pound-for-pound ratings. When Nathan (of Ultimate F'n Casual fame) joins, the conversation shifts to good fights that can be made among the "B" class of particular divisions (we have a special place in our hearts for that tier). They may not be the elite, but they can still fight!

Joined by Ring Gang's Pilot and Argie to talk over the huge fight in Jalisco featuring the undisputed Super Middleweight champ, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and how much stock does John Ryder really gain from this victory-in-defeat, but we open up with a little bit of UFC/MMA and Aljamain Stirling. Plus discussing the upcoming Top Rank and PBC cards as well as the undisputed fight between undisputed Lightweight champion Devin Haney and the phenom that is Vasyl Lomachenko.
