S24 Ep 8One oddball before the Serrano card in Puerto Rico and Top Rank
E~ Call/text anonymously: 833.LVX.PODS~ Follow the show: https://lvx.at/boxingLast portion of this show ~ We talk briefly about Sam Eggington's fight (yes, he's still fighting) before moving on to the Most Valuable Promotions card with Amanda Serrano headlining, plus Venado Lopez defends his IBF Featherweight title, while Ray Ford takes a shot at the WBA version.

S24 Ep 7Reviewing the JoJo Diaz fiasco and a Friday triple-header
E~ Call/text anonymously: 833.LVX.PODS~ Follow the show: https://lvx.at/boxingThe new release format continues ~ we take a look at that wild Diaz-Perez fight on Golden Boy's Thursday night card, then the triple threat match we had on Friday between ProBox, Top Rank, and Matchroom.

S24 Ep 6A few small shows before getting into the Teiken-Ohashi and Matchroom cards this weekend
E~ Call/text anonymously: 833.LVX.PODS~ Follow the show: https://lvx.at/boxingContinuation ~ Preview block A, looking ahead at a few smaller events briefly before moving to the Teiken-Ohashi collab in Tokyo and the Matchroom card in Florida.

S24 Ep 5Teofimo beats Jamaine? Plus some UK cards to recap
E~ Call/text anonymously: 833.LVX.PODS~ Follow the show: https://lvx.at/boxingThe beginning of the new release format: this is review block A where we take a look at Teofimo's questionable performance against Jamaine Ortiz, plus a pair of UK cards.

S24 Ep 4Munguia rides to a win, Fury - Usyk postponed, and a British weekend
E~ Call/text anonymously: 833.LVX.PODS~ Follow the show: https://lvx.at/boxingWe start with some somber news: Kazuki Anaguchi passed away at age 23 on Friday evening after falling into a coma from a subdural hematoma he suffered in his brutal fight on December 26th. He was barely concious as he reached the locker room, was unconcious by the time he arrived at the hospital, and he simply did not wake up. Condolences to his family. On a disappointing note, Tyson Fury sustained a pretty bad cut on his left brow during training and the undisputed fight with Usyk has been delayed back to mid-May. On another disappointing note, Conor Benn wins by UD in Vegas. You'll have to listen to hear why that would be disappointing. Munguia delivers a dynamite win with a MOSTLY entertaining undercard. Kenshiro Teraji retains his belts after a close decision and Tenshin Nasukawa continues his career.

S24 Ep 3Munguia-Ryder, review Beterbiev, and some announced fights
E~ Call/text anonymously: 833.LVX.PODS~ Follow the show: https://lvx.at/boxingLots of news has been coming out: Ryan and Rolly have their last will-they-won't-they and Rolly sets his sights on Pitbull, leaving Ryan without a credible opponent. Kambosos will test his mettle against Lomachenko for the IBF title and some possible fights for the PBC on Prime launch. Our reviews hit the Beterbiev-Smith card, some shenanigans at a ProBoxTV card, and a bit about Mikaela Mayer's outing. The biggest thing on the horizon is Jaime Munguia and John Ryder coming up, but there is some business in Belfast and a mighty mini situation in Tokyo. Oh, yeah, Benn is fighting...'nuff said.

S24 Ep 2Best of 2023
E~ Call/text anonymously: 833.LVX.PODS~ Follow the show: https://lvx.at/boxingOur best of for 2023 is here! Fight, fighter, prospect, knockout, upset, comeback, master class, ass whooping, hero, and villain. Lots of categories, but 2023 was an insanely great year for this thing of ours. The stage is set and we are here...this is it: the time has come. I SAID, THE TIME. HAS. COME. From the four quarters of 2023 to the four quarters of this podcast...the picks start now!

S24 Ep 1Day of Reckoning, Ryan-Rolly, Beterbiev-Smith, Joshua-Ngannou
E~ Call/text anonymously: 833.LVX.PODS~ Follow the show: https://lvx.at/boxingLots to go over as 2023 closed out and 2024 gets ramped up. Already some big news following the Day of Reckoning: Anthony Joshua will square off with Francis Ngannou. Is there more left in Wilder's tank? Will Zhang retire Wilder? Where do we rate Parker with this win? Ryan G opts out of a Haney fight in favor of the more lucrative (but easier) fight with Rolly Romero. Barroso bounces back; Beterbiev and Callum Smith prepare to do the thing; Inoue goes undisputed again, but a solemn reminder of the dangers of boxing in the comain; ProBoxTV starts the year; Tenshin returns.

S23 Ep 20The Day of Reckoning, the Monster, the end of Showtime, and Bam
ECall or text anonymously ~ 833.LVX.PODS (833.589.7637)~The mega collaboration that is the "Day of Reckoning" is upon us! The Monster's return is nigh, which took us around the topic of Filipino boxing icons in present times. The big Bam victory over Sunny Edwards, MJ Akhmadaliev back in the winner circle, and the end of an era: Showtime Championship Boxing is no more. Rayo Valenzuela and David Morrell take us out in style with big knockouts over Chris Colbert and Sena Agbeko.

S23 Ep 19Life after Benavidez-Andrade; Super Light heat; some prospects; and UniFlycation
EWE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU: call or text anonymously ~ 833.LVX.PODS (833.589.7637)~Oh boy, lots to talk about! Spicy action at 140 with the Boricua Bomber Subriel Matias, Haney-Prograis on the horizon, Ryan Garcia pitching a snoozer, and Sandor Martin of "definitely beat Teofimo Lopez" fame returns; some excellent prospects to keep your eyes on: Micky Scala, Bilal Akkawy, and Floyd Schofield (nickname change found inside); Bam and Sunny unify; and the end of an era: Showtime Championship Boxing is no more.

S23 Ep 18Benavidez v Andrade, December 23rd, and Inoue woes
EWE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU: call or text anonymously ~ 833.LVX.PODS (833.589.7637)~We review November 5th to November 18th, then preview November 19th up to December 2nd. No time wasted, going straight to discussing the card in Saudi Arabia near the end of the year, plus a few other odds and ends throughout the boxing world. We ride out on a very high note of discussing some PED testing protocol changes taking place in Nevada, some if you're having trouble sleeping, there it is.

S23 Ep 17Fury v Ngannou fallout, Super Featherweight possibilities, and Shakur's crowning
EWE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU: call or text anonymously ~ 833.LVX.PODS (833.589.7637)We are back! Drip, Leo, and Shanata sit down to talk about the possibility of women's fights moving to 3 minutes (they should), some interesting developments at Super Featherweight, and Muratalla's announcement. We also talk about the upcoming coronation of King Shakur, Warren's "Magnificent 7", and Diego Pacheco.

S23 Ep 16Benavidez-Andrade is on, Inoue-Tapales is on, Golden Boy down bad, and Fury-Ngannou
EWE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU: call or text anonymously ~ 833.LVX.PODS (833.589.7637) Outro song used with express permission of the artist, go to lvx.at/city for more~ Alright baby, it's Fury-Ngannou time! We just couldn't contain our excitement for it. A bit to talk about: Janibek at the top of middleweight, Logan Paul as Rocky, Tim Tszyu won the fight but Brian Mendoza won our hearts, Johnriel Casimero's woes, Probox and other prospects from around the horn.

S23 Ep 15Charnelo grievances, Zurdo & Joe cruising together, and Tim Tszyu's coronation
WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU: 833-589-7637 (LVX-PODS) anonymous and unattended ~~We have a great conversation over the disappointing Canelo-Charlo card, including the nonsense that was the result of Ramos-Lubin and the two other great fights. There are lots of references to some boxing personalities' books, some news from the streets of Tokyo, and the packed Top Rank card that features, Richard "The Stache" Torrez, Keyshawn Davis, and a middleweight unification fight.

S23 Ep 14Charnelo special, a packed Mexican Independence Day weekend, and Manny's Olympic dreams
EReview from Sep 10 - 23, Preview Sep 24 - Oct 7We had quite a few cards to review on Sep 15-16! Plus some heavyweight fun on the 23rd before we move into previewing the Charnelo card. Don't think we're gonna let the Zurdo and Wood-Warrington fights slide. There is a bit of discussion about Manny and his aspirations for Olympic gold, so pardon the cynicism.

S23 Ep 13The Boxing B-Sides meet the Ultimate F'n Casuals
EThis was the first day of us getting into 2-week review/preview blocks where we alternated with the Casuals, but UFC 293 was so good they jumped on to record the day after. So the Ultimate F'n B-Sides go in on UFC 293, Usyk-Dubois, Jared Anderson, Zhang-Joyce 2, Bellator 299, OneFC's Muay Thai fight, the Charnelo undercard, and allllll the boxing your heart could ever want.

S23 Ep 12Big Fish Fry, Matchroom four-piece, and mid-year picks (finally)
EWe haven't had a chance to talk since before Spence - Crawford! Fortunately (or unfortunately?) the high emotions have settled down a bit, but there is still a lot to talk about with that fight and get it on the record, as it were. Lots of news, lots reviews, a few previews, and finally sitting down for the mid-year picks. Plus some fun news in about the wider LVX Media family.

S23 Ep 11Spence-Crawford! Lots to recap and a big one to review!
ESpence-Crawford is finally here! Let's talk a bit over what each fighters' best options my be. A bit of chatter on the rise of Jaron Ennis, how 154 may be shaping out with Jermell Charlo going up to fight Canelo, and a whole host of other recaps.

S23 Ep 10Late? Yes. Worth? Also yes.
EWell, a lot of this will certainly be dated, but think of it as a retrospective. Further, think of it as speculation in a broader, conceptual sense specifically as it pertains to Vergil Ortiz since his fight was canceled. Still plenty to discuss, so have fun with hindsight being 20/20. A few admin changes: our number 833-589-7637 now accepts text messages, BUT only from WhatsApp because business numbers are weird.

S23 Ep 9Get the bag of positive energy
EA busy May 27th, light June 3rd. June 9-10 was a lot of fun with Munguia stepping up in competition, relatively speaking, and Teofimo Lopez re-establishing himself as a top name in the 135-140 neighborhood. Some smaller weight discussion and recording was interrupted a few times by June 14th's ProBox card. A look ahead at Prograis and Berlanga new venture with Matchroom on the 17th and 24th respectively.

S23 Ep 8Aztec Warriors march on, Haneychenko "controversy", and some announcements
EWe discuss the dirty result of Romero-Barroso, the freak KO Nakatani delivered, and Valdez's place in boxing. Looking ahead at Lara and Lopez defending their titles on UK soil, as the Mexican Monster Association continues to dominate British Boxing. With plenty of time to go, we just give a little bit of initial thinking on Spence-Crawford and a tiny bit of MMA talk.

S23 Ep 7Rating today's best and some hypothetical matchups among the besn't
ELeo and Drip have a chat over the LVX family's collective pound-for-pound ratings. When Nathan (of Ultimate F'n Casual fame) joins, the conversation shifts to good fights that can be made among the "B" class of particular divisions (we have a special place in our hearts for that tier). They may not be the elite, but they can still fight!

S23 Ep 6Canelo, the beggining of the end? Haney-Lomachenko coming soon
EJoined by Ring Gang's Pilot and Argie to talk over the huge fight in Jalisco featuring the undisputed Super Middleweight champ, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and how much stock does John Ryder really gain from this victory-in-defeat, but we open up with a little bit of UFC/MMA and Aljamain Stirling. Plus discussing the upcoming Top Rank and PBC cards as well as the undisputed fight between undisputed Lightweight champion Devin Haney and the phenom that is Vasyl Lomachenko.

S23 Ep 5The Tank takes out the King, Canelo-Ryder and hardcore fan service
EJoined today by our good buddy Pilot from the Ring Gang and Nathan, the Ultimate F'n Mentor to me the Casual. We talk through the recent Lightweight clash between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia and what it could mean for the rest of the division. Canelo's homecoming dance is nigh, but is John Ryder really worth staying home to watch when a hometown hero is stepping back into ring? Controversial comparison drawn with Devin Haney...definitely interested to hear the reaction. A little love note for Chief.

S23 Ep 4Shakur dominates, Fundora's upset, Tenshin debuts, Bam's break
EStart with a little bit of UFC talk to get warmed up and dive right into last weekend's considerable amount of boxing. Some things went according to the script, others didn't! Some news bits on Haney and Anthony Joshua and last picks for Tank-Ryan.

S23 Ep 3Plantavidez PPV recap and AJ-Franklin chatter
EWe sit down to talk over the Plant-Benavidez PPV card, all 4. How egregious was the Colbert decision? HODL Jesus Ramos to the moon?

S23 Ep 2February Recap, Canelo-Ryder, Fulton-Inoue, and Wilder-Ngannou???
EWe have our brother in arms Nathan join us from Ultimate F'n Casual to talk boxing and a little bit on the possible crossover of Ngannou. Lots of title fights in there and a some sick elevator music. Figueroa topples Magsayo to set up a mandatory shot at 126 champ Rey Vargas who just lost his title shot at 130!

S22 Ep 2Reviewing Haney-Kambosos, Fulton-Roman, Inoue-Donaire 2; Previewing Munguia-Kelly, Dubois
ELeo and RyGar have Stu and Robbie on to chat over the latest in boxing. Haney takes Kambosos to class, Fulton also puts on a clinic, so how does that land in terms of boxing as a whole as well as their respective divisions. Munguia gets another no-hoper, Dubois vs who? And a little bit of banter on Chisora-Pulev 2 being announced and heavyweights in general.
