Spy Catcher (BBC) 1960-1961. A series of true stories in the unceasing search for enemy spys in wartime. Based on the memoirs of Lt. Col. Oreste Pinto of Allied Counterintelligence Services. The shows were extremly popular during the golden age of radio.THIS EPISODE:"Traitor In The Forest" - Takes place in the winter of 1944 when the scope of war activities in Europe had widened. Col. Pinto was assigned to infultrate the spy network in enemy territory as well as gain intelligence that would aid in the protection of allied forces into Belgium and Holland. This incident investigates a document found in the pocket of a dead German officer. The part of Lt. Col. Oreste Pinto is played by Vernon Archer.
