Crime Does Not Pay. November 14, 1949. MGM syndication. "Body Of The Crime". Commercials added locally. Sarah and Alma Johnson have disappeared from the Swenson homestead. Norman Williams knows all-too-well what happened to them, but the law seems powerless with the bodies! This was one of the cases that helped to convict Bruno Hauptmann for the murder of the Lindbergh baby, even though the body was not found.
