A sixteen-year-old from Needham faces murder charges in the shooting death of sixty-one-year-old Marie Molea, a homeless woman with a history of severe mental illness. Molea was found near a Washington Street bus shelter in Roxbury, just blocks from Rosies Place, where she often stayed. Despite her struggles, Molea was once a dedicated mother and school nurse, captaining the cheerleading team and being homecoming queen at Lynn Classical High School. The teen was arrested earlier this month with a loaded gun and is now charged with murder, aggravated assault, and unlawful gun possession in Moleas death.
