A Westfield smoke shop worker, Mohamed Isham Yahiya, pleads not guilty to food stamp trafficking, selling unstamped cigarettes, and drug possession in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Yahiya allegedly bought SNAP benefits for Red Bull energy drinks at a discount, pocketing the difference. An undercover agent purchased $1,700 worth of drinks for $1,000 in cash. Yahiya was arrested in March and arraigned in April, held on $5,000 bail. Hes due back in court on May 28th as authorities continue to combat food stamp fraud.
