Plymouth police officer, Samantha Pelrine, and her husband, Daniel Forand, are accused of sexual abuse and assault against a victim they gained legal guardianship of. The victim, who knew them through family church connections, alleges repeated assaults over several years. Pelrine, a native of Plymouth, joined the force in April 2022 and is currently on paid administrative leave as the investigation continues.
