Shohei Ohtani, the Dodgers dual-role star, returned to pitching in a spring training game against the Giants, striking out four and walking two while allowing just one hit. This was his first in-game pitching since November, following his stint with Team Japan in the World Baseball Classic. Ohtani, who posted a 2.87 ERA last season, is set to make one more spring start before serving as the designated hitter on opening day, with his first pitching start targeted for around March 30th.
