Show Notes
30-year-old Richard Nguyen, linked to the Asian Boyz gang, received a hefty sentence in Boston federal court for distributing counterfeit methamphetamine pills. Nguyen, part of a large network, sold thousands of these pills, masquerading as Adderall, in Lowell. He was caught after an investigation and pleaded guilty to 47 sales, including a deal where he moved 2000 pills. Nguyen used Instagram to negotiate deals and sold from a hidden back porch spot. His sentence includes 10 years and 8 months in prison, plus 5 years of supervised release, serving as a reminder to gang members that homemade hustles lead to long prison terms.
