Show Notes
On March 10, 1876, Alexander Graham Bell made history in Boston with the worlds first telephone call. Bell, a Scottish immigrant, was inspired by his mother and father to improve the telegraph system. He developed a liquid transmitter with Thomas Watson, leading to the formation of the Bell Telephone Company. Today, markers in downtown Boston commemorate the historic event, as pedestrians rush by, taking the technology for granted.
