Meanwhile, in nineteen sixty, the Celtics made history as the first NBA team to win sixty games in a season, crushing the New York Knicks one hundred forty-eight to one hundred twenty-eight at home. Sadly, its also the day in twenty sixteen that former Celtics center Clyde Lovellette passed away after a career that included stops in Boston.
