DJ and Pete continue to assess the season that was for the Bruins and look toward the future for the franchise and how they can improve.

They get into their overall thoughts on the season, the Bruins keeping Claude Julien on as head coach and the end-of-season press conferences last week. They discuss the rebuild process, what the Bruins need and how they can obtain it. Plenty of callers have their own theories and opinions on all of these topics as well.

Butch is joined by two-thirds of the Sunday Skate show in DJ and Pete. The guys discuss the problems with Bruins including leadership and grit, who should stay and who should go and if Claude is to blame.

Less than 24 hours removed from the Bruins season coming to an end, DJ, Joe and Pete discuss and react to the downward spiral during the final weeks of the season. What happened and could it have been prevented? The guys talk about the leadership and roster issues on this team and wonder if Don Sweeney and Cam Neely can fix things. They also get into the Claude Julien question -- will he stay or will he go? These guys don't believe he should be fired but realize it's an option that many fans want the organization to go in.

Steve calls DJ and Pete to discuss what he thinks will happen down the stretch and if the B's will find a way into the playoffs. He does think they'll squeeze their way in. He talks about his reaction to the 1st period last night, how they regrouped and his overall reaction to how the team has performed this season.

It's been a rough west coast swing for the B's, but it's not like we didn't see it coming. DJ and the guys wonder if this changes people's opinions on what the Bruins did or did not do at the trade deadline. They also get into the future of Brad Marchand, what it will take to sign him and if Boston is going to pony up the cash to keep him.

The boys also give their opinion on Sweeney's decision to not pull the trigger on a trade for Eriksson, what was being offered and what it means for Boston going forward.

DJ, Joe and Pete are in for another edition of Sunday Skate - the first show since the trade deadline last Monday. The guys discuss a huge week for the B's. They were able to get a win against the Blackhawks and OT loss to the Caps. Pretty solid case for the fans to have some hope and maybe get won over by the team again, but DJ warns that things could still get ugly quickly considering their upcoming schedule. The guys also discuss the Ovechkin hit on Kevan Miller that sent him out of the game never to return - Pete thinks the punishment fit the crime with the penalty he received, but DJ and Joe think it was a little dirty. This leads to a disagreement about the value of Miller as well.

He talks about the malaise around the team in the locker room and the fan-base, his thoughts on the NHL Playoffs and the state of the Bruins vs where Montreal finds themselves. Arpon goes as far as to say that today may be a "make it or break it" game for them against Carolina.

Brick also talks about the Bruins defense, what they need to do gong forward and the play of Zdeno Chara who has been effective but has clearly lost a step as he enters the latter part of his career. Andy also says the Bruins need to pick up their play on home ice if they're going to have any chance at success this season.

DJ, Joe and Ken discuss the status of Loui Eriksson in Boston and if the Bruins are willing to commit to him long-term. They talk about what they could get back if they do move him and negotiations on a new deal. Eriksson has a great agent and both sides will be looking to capitalize. This is an important moment and decision for GM Don Sweeney and his tenure.
