Show Notes

Tommy Lewis of That's Runnable + Heidi Baker of Let's Run that Again join Josh to talk 2025 race goals.

Heidi and Tommy share an A Race in common - Devil's Gulch 100 Miler. I visited that race last year and made a video about it. I'm pumped for them.

Josh is going to run the Paris Marathon and he's on the waitlist for Paris Ecotrail 80km.

  1. The best outcomes of consuming content are to inspire action.
  2. The culture of ultra running in America has a unique romance.
  3. Smaller races can provide a more intimate and humble experience.
  4. Experiencing trails is valuable, even with DNFs.
  5. The journey to a 100-mile race is as important as the race itself. If I was seeking external validation, I would have given up.
  6. Running across Texas is a personal ambition.
