American Psycho: chances are, you've seen the film and know plenty of Patrick Bateman quotes. But have you read the book? Published in 1991 and written by Bret Easton Ellis, this novel is an extremely funny satire of modern consumerism, as well as being stomach-churningly disgusting in many places. Levi sat this episode out, and Ed stepped in to fill his shoes. As Ed has watched the American Psycho film at least 30 times, he was definitely in his element.
