Spicy hot take: 9/11 wasn't an inside job. Rather, it was a terrorist attack planned by Osama bin Laden, a Saudi Islamic extremist.
For someone talked about so much, few people in the West have heard Osama bin Laden's own words. Instead of listening to the man himself, we had 'counter-terrorism experts' regurgitate talking points into our open mouths and called it a day. Fortunately, Bruce Lawrence edited the book 'Messages to the World - The Statements of Osama bin Laden' (2005), a compilation of 24 of Osama's public statements. It's a convenient way to get acquainted with Osama's thought, which is exactly what Jack and Levi attempt to do in this episode.
