Shem takes pride in producing beautiful games with interesting mechanics. In 2017, Shem’s design “Raiders of the North Sea” was nominated for the prestigious Kennerspiel des Jahres award. Before entering the toy industry, David had the hardest job in the world. He was selling Exxon oil to Alaskan fishermen after the Valdez spill and he wasn't very successful. He escaped that and broke into the toy industry with University Games eventually rising to become their Vice President of Sales. After 12 years, he left University Games to co-found Goliath's North American office in 2008 with his soon-to-be friend, Adi Golad. During his time at Goliath, the company has grown from under $40,000 in annual sales to become one of the top 3 toy companies in North America.  In his role, David oversees global product development for gaming and strategic and day to day management of Goliath's business in North America.  He holds a Master's in Business Degree from Duke's Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. Already a fan of science fiction and fantasy, Scott was introduced to the larger world of gaming when he first played Dungeons and Dragons at age 9. In high school he discovered Warhammer 40,000, and eventually found employment with Games Workshop in Canada where he met Bill and began a partnership in creativity. There he combined his interests in games and words by editing promotional materials and creating games for events such as Games Day and the local Conflicts.After leaving Games Workshop to pursue a higher education, he found himself in teacher training. As part of a project to help young students understand early math skills, he created the Subtract ‘n’ Adder. Once he was in the classroom, teaching, he saw the value of making lessons that used a game format to instruct students in the use of new concepts and skills. He came up with the idea for Mathemagician’s Duel and tested it with his class. They liked it, so along with Bill Murphy, he formed BSGames and launched it. OMG! Nexus started out as Lasting First Impressions, back in 2010 when Sean started reviewing video games. After launching The OMG! Hour podcast in 2012, the change to OMG! Nexus came with it, and Tycko joined as a permanent co-host in 2016. It wasn't until 2019 that boardgames were added to their  mix of coverage, resulting in the creation of the popular Kicking Tables and Flipping Tables shows during the 2020 pandemic. As of 2021, OMG! Varnavas Timotheou is the founder of Hegemonic Project Games and the co-designer of Hegemony: Lead Your Class to Victory. After completing his MA in International Political Economy at King´s College London,  he wanted to inspire people to learn more about politics. This vision led to the creation of Hegemony, an asymmetric board game in which 2-4 players simulate the economy and politics of a whole nation. Alexander Gertz is currently completing his MA in Global Political Economy and Development at the University of Kassel. McKay Anderson is a Board Game Designer from Provo Utah. He graduated with a degree in Product Design and was quickly hired by Hasbro to design games for the entertainment and licensing team. While there he worked closely with major companies like Lucas Films, Disney, Netflix, and Nickelodeon. After 3 years at Hasbro he decided it was time to move back to be closer to family.
