De Zuid-Koreaanse president Yoon Suk-yeol is officieel uit zijn ambt gezet. De uitspraak van het Constitutioneel Hof kreeg ‘unanieme instemming van alle rechters', zei de waarnemend opperrechter. De gevallen president hangt ook nog strafrechtelijke vervolging boven het hoofd. ‘Zelfs als hij door het Constitutioneel Hof niet uit zijn ambt was gezet, was hij waarschijnlijk nog de gevangenis in gegaan’, zegt hoogleraar Koreastudies Remco Breuker.
