De Zuid-Koreaanse president Lee Jae Myung is op bezoek bij de Chinese president Xi Jinping, het is de tweede ontmoeting tussen de twee leiders in twee maanden. Voor het bezoek staan vier dagen gepland. Volgens Remco Breuker, hoogleraar Koreastudies aan de Universiteit Leiden, is het juist nu heel belangrijk voor Zuid-Korea om de band met China te intensiveren.
