De geplande btw-verhoging op logies zorgt voor steeds meer onrust in de toeristische sector. De gemeente Zandvoort voorziet een ‘economische ramp’ als de verhoging per 1 januari doorgaat. Wethouder Toerisme Lars Carree roept, in aanloop naar de verkiezingen, de landelijke politiek op om de belastingverhoging terug te draaien. ‘Een groot deel van onze inwoners wordt hierdoor geraakt.’
