Om de adviezen van Peter Wennink snel om te zetten in beleid, pleit hij voor de aanstelling van een ‘Commissaris Toekomstige Welvaart’, die het kabinet ondersteunt. Zelf ziet hij die rol niet voor zich weggelegd, zegt hij tegen BNR. ‘Ik word 69 en ben niet politiek geschoold. En ik ben misschien wel iets te bot zo af en toe.’
