De presentatie van de rentedaling door ECB-baas Christine Lagarde maakte vooral duidelijk dat er meer rentestappen zullen volgen, zegt huiseconoom Han de Jong. ‘Nu staat het rentetarief op 3,5 procent, ik denk dat we afkoersen op iets van 2 procent, dus dat er nog wel 1,5 procentpunt verlaging aan zit te komen.’
