De VVD is positief over het compromis dat de PVV en NSC hebben bereikt over asiel, liet partijleider Dilan Yeşilgöz weten. Ook de fractie van BBB is enthousiast, volgens Caroline van der Plas. Maar volgens politiek verslaggever Leendert Beekman wordt de opvangcrisis met dit pakket alleen maar groter. ‘De vraag is of het allemaal wel gaat werken.’
