De Amerikaanse regering wil radicaal-rechtse denktanks en organisaties in Europa financieel steunen, schrijft de Financial Times. Washington probeert de Europese Unie te verzwakken en op te delen. Een van de belangrijkste doelen is om Amerikaanse Big Techbedrijven een sterkere positie in Europa te geven, zegt senior onderzoeker Christopher Houtkamp van de afdeling Veiligheid van het Clingendael Instituut.
