Veel Nederlanders denken dat ze goed zijn in het herkennen van online oplichting, maar niets is minder waar: negen op de tien gaat weleens de mist in. We overschatten onszelf: slechts zes procent van de Nederlanders weet misleiding online consistent te onderscheiden, terwijl de helft denkt daar ‘goed of heel goed’ in te zijn. Dat blijkt uit onderzoek van de Rijksoverheid.
