Oud-ASML-topman Peter Wennink benadrukt in zijn rapport hoe cruciaal talent is voor economische groei en technologische relevantie. Structurele veranderingen zijn nodig om het beschikbare talent beter te laten aansluiten op de maatschappelijke ambities. Silvia Lenaerts, rector magnificus van de TU Eindhoven, is enthousiast over de duidelijke richting van het rapport. ‘Focus op excellentie, focus op toegevoegde waarde en focus op innovatie-ecosystemen, zodat we bewuste keuzes kunnen maken in domeinen waarin Nederland nu al uitblinkt.’
