Werkgeversorganisaties VNO-NCW en MKB-Nederland vinden het uiterst onverstandig om de invoering van het Mercosur-handelsverdrag met de Zuid-Amerikaanse landen verder uit te stellen. Een meerderheid in het Europees Parlement wil dat de deal eerst door het Europees Hof wordt goedgekeurd, omdat het besluitvormingsproces volgens hen niet democratisch is verlopen.
