De plannen die landen hebben ingediend in aanloop naar de COP30 in Brazilië zijn lang niet ambitieus genoeg om de opwarming van de aarde te beperken tot maximaal 2 graden. Ook Europa laat flinke steken vallen, zegt Eva Selderbeek, redacteur klimaat bij het FD. ‘We hebben ons huiswerk wel iets minder goed gedaan dan de jaren hiervoor.’
