Klimaatorganisatie Milieudefensie gaat opnieuw een klimaatrechtszaak aanspannen tegen gas- en olieconcern Shell. Dat heeft de organisatie bekendgemaakt op een persconferentie. ‘Wij eisen dat Shell onmiddellijk stopt met het ontwikkelen van nieuwe olie- en gasvelden’, zei directeur Donald Pols van de klimaatorganisatie. ‘Wij kunnen als samenleving niet meer accepteren dat een bedrijf als Shell onze toekomst bepaalt.’
