De Russische president Poetin probeert een groep prominente tegenstanders de mond te snoeren. Het gaat onder meer om de in Londen wonende Russische ondernemer Michaïl Chodorkovski. ‘Hoewel Chodorkovski al jaren gevaar loopt, zal hij niet zomaar uit een raam vallen. Deze strafzaak is vooral bedoeld voor binnenlands gebruik’, zegt Ruslandkenner Hubert Smeets van Raam op Rusland.
