Onlinesupermarkt Picnic heeft in de laatste maand van 2023 voor het eerst winst gemaakt in Nederland, blijkt uit het jaarverslag. Desondanks is Picnic nog lang niet winstgevend: vorig jaar boekte de supermarkt nog een verlies van ruim 220 miljoen euro. Toch vindt Michiel Muller, medeoprichter en directeur van Picnic, dit een belangrijke stap. ‘Hiermee laten we zien dat het model winstgevend is.’
