De Amerikaanse leverancier van computerchipapparatuur Applied Materials heeft een belang van 9 procent genomen in de Nederlandse branchegenoot BE Semiconductor Industries (Besi). Volgens Reinder Wietsma, portfoliomanager bij beleggingsfonds Centive, is het ‘heel verstandig’ om het bij een financiële investering te laten. Toch sluit hij een overname op de lange termijn niet uit.
