De Chinese hackersorganisatie 'Salt Typhoon' heeft op grote schaal wereldwijd data gestolen. Lange tijd was de impact nog niet duidelijk, maar volgens The New York Times zijn van haast alle Amerikaanse burgers gegevens gestolen en waren er tachtig landen doelwit van de organisatie.
