NSC wil dat er een verbod komt voor het inbouwen van zogeheten kill-switches in apparatuur. Daarmee kunnen fabrikanten op afstand een product te allen tijde onklaar maken. Volgens NSC-kamerlid Jesse Six Dijkstra vormen die kill-switches een achilleshiel binnen onze weerbaarheid. 'Het is een probleem als leveranciers vanuit China onze zonnepanelen aan en uit kunnen zetten.'
