De Belgische federale politie heeft donderdagochtend invallen gedaan als onderdeel van een corruptieonderzoek naar het Europees Parlement. Naast het onderzoek dat zich richt op lobbyisten van Huawei, zijn er meerdere Europarlementariërs in beeld gebracht. ‘Het is nu aan president Roberta Metsola van het Europees Parlement om met harde sancties te komen’, zegt VVD-Europarlementariër Bart Groothuis.
