De ultraorthodoxe partij Shas stapt uit de Israëlische coalitie, melden Israëlische media. Dat betekent dat premier Benjamin Netanyahu zijn meerderheid in het parlement verliest, al is de actie grotendeels ‘symbolisch’ zegt correspondent Ralph Dekkers. De partij stapt wel uit de coalitie, maar zal de regering wel blijven steunen.
