Het WK voetbal voor clubteams is begonnen in de VS. Wereldvoetbalbond FIFA probeert met dit WK de Europese Champions League af te troeven, maar het is maar de vraag of de tribunes überhaupt gevuld zijn. 'In hoeverre gaan we nu zien dat de FIFA echt een keer zijn hand heeft overspeeld', zegt sportjournalist Jaap de Groot.
