Om over een jaar of tien écht te kunnen concurreren met China en de VS moet de EU jaarlijks zo’n 125 miljard euro extra investeren in start-ups, zegt Lucien Burm, voorzitter van de Dutch Startup Association. ‘Het is eigenlijk nog nooit voorgekomen dat er zo’n compleet plan ligt om die hele start- en scale-upsector te versnellen en te laten groeien.’
