Israël is begonnen aan een nieuwe luchtaanval op Iran, dat meldt The Times of Israel. De aanval is gericht op District 3 van Teheran. De Israëlische krijgsmacht roept inwoners van de Iraanse hoofdstad op om te evacueren. 'Er wordt al gesuggereerd dat vooral de staatsmedia het doelwit zou kunnen zijn van een aanval die binnen enkele uren zou moeten beginnen', zegt Israël-correspondent Ralph Dekkers.
