ING gaat stoppen met de financiering van nieuwe upstream-olie- en gasbedrijven die nieuwe olievelden ontwikkelen. Dat staat in de Climate Progress Update, een rapport over klimaatacties van de bank. Sectoren waar klimaatdoelen niet zijn gehaald zijn bijvoorbeeld hypotheken en staal. Hoofd Business Ethics van ING, Arnaud Cohen Stuart, zegt van sommige bedrijven ‘afscheid’ te zullen nemen.
