De inflatie is de afgelopen maand uitgekomen op 3,6 procent. Dat is nét hoger dan het cijfer van september, toen kwam de inflatie uit op 3,5 procent. Dat blijkt uit een eerste raming van het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS). ‘In de rest van Europa daalt het cijfer, maar in Nederland nog niet’, zegt Peter Hein van Mulligen, hoofdeconoom bij het CBS.
