De inflatie in de eurozone is gestegen naar 2,6 procent op jaarbasis, meldt het Europese statistiekbureau Eurostat in een voorlopige raming. Ook de inflatie in Nederland is in juli verder opgelopen naar 3,7 procent op jaarbasis, meldt het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS) in een snelle raming. ‘Dit is gewoon weer een heel slecht cijfer’, zegt BNR’s huiseconoom Han de Jong.
