Op den duur kan de aanhoudende inflatie in Nederland leiden tot destabilisering van de economie. Daarvoor waarschuwt Jan Willem van den End van De Nederlandsche Bank, tevens docent aan de finance-faculteit van de VU in het economenvakblad ESB. De inflatie in Nederland is namelijk al enige tijd hoger dan die in andere landen in de eurozone.
