Hezbollah en Israël bestoken elkaar met raketten, de Israëlische luchtmacht bombardeert doelen in Libanon. Volgens Hezbollah is een nieuwe fase aangebroken in het conflict met Israël. Hezbollah heeft nog geen burgerdoelen aangevallen in Tel Aviv, maar de organisatie sluit niks uit. Israël gaat lijkt een grondoffensief te gaan beginnen in Libanon. Volgens brigadegeneraal en hoogleraar Han Bouwmeester neemt de hoeveelheid geweld de laatste dagen toe en daarmee wordt de situatie steeds heftiger.
