Het wereldhandelsvolume groeit wereldwijd licht met 0,1 procent ten opzichte van vorige maand, maar Europa draagt niet bij aan die groei. Dat blijkt uit cijfers van de Wereldhandelsmonitor van het Centraal Planbureau. Volgens Econoom Han de Jong ligt de oorzaak bij de teleurstellende industriële productie in Europa, die ver achterblijft bij de rest van de wereld.
